pre loaded adjusters & springs - curvy
i have pre laoded adjusters on my bike. but my forks are really soft even if i have the adjusters all the way down or all the way up. i take it if the adjusters are all the way down the forks get harder if they are all the way up they get softer ?
seeing as my adjusters seem to make no diffrent what are the bets springs and adjusters that you can buy ? or that people have found good to use

the adjusters are for preload only, it is the springs which determine the stiffness of the suspension

The adjusters work fine when you have springs of the correct weight. Contact a suspension firm to see about getting some which are a higher rate than standard as well as a heavier weight oil.

Re: pre loaded adjusters & springs - curvy
get the right springs for your weight, maybe a thicker oil to help damp things and then decide where to spend money, cartridge emulators or a GSXR front.
SV suspension is very basic, you live with the compromise or pay to get decent suspension

try a change of fork oil. just out 15w in my pointy. and makes such a differance. not a hard job either. give that a go before "forking" out on new springs!!!

Re: pre loaded adjusters & springs - curvy
