Michelin MAC 90's
Anyone have an opinion on these tyres ?
Theyr'e going for £110 at Busters for the pair at moment. Cheers folks |

Crap, don't bother - unless you're going to do an awful lot of motorway miles and aren't worried about the handling characteristics. It'll still cost you £30 to get them fitted to loose wheels anyway so in all earnest you're really not saving very much.
Probably something like a pair of Z6s would suit you just fine and you should be able to get them fitted for around £160 - they're an order of magnitude better. . |

Yep, back up jonboy on that. You'll regret fitting them.
Had them as OE on my Deauville. Made of granite. Last for ever, just about OK in the dry and straight line. No confidence on bends and tip-toe around in the wet. I changed them at 9500mls, rear was about half worn (seriously). Fitted Conti Road Attacks.....................WOW! The bike handles, steers, and is a delight in the wet too! Just play with the pressures to get what suits you, the recommended pressures from Conti are too low for the DV. |
