Hovis RIP

Well I'm totally shocked. Just read through all the posts and there are some great memories and stories of him, that have brough tears to my eyes for good and bad reasons. Had a great weekend with him in Wales last weekend and can't believe that a week later he's gone.
It's plainly obvious from all of these posts how highly he was thought of.
Rest in peace my friend.

I never met him - my loss.

But from past activity on this forum alone, it is abundantly clear that he was a fondly regarded guy, pure character and always capable of brightening a dull day.

Heard the sad news Sunday morning but only just been able to post.

its odd modern things, a simple video on a small camera and there he is captured forever- anytime I want him alive and moving again or hear his voice I can just click on that ..

Sorry to hear this but at least he died doing something he enjoyed. I am sure he will be missed by all on this site.
