Starter Relay\Solenoid early and late the same?
Hi All just wondering if it is ok to use a starter relay from a 2005 sv650 on a 2000 sv? Mine has gone and can only seem to find the newer ones. Thanks in advance, Rob

Re: Starter Relay\Solenoid
I don't recall if the connections are identical - even if the plug is the same the individual wires may be in different positions - but the solenoid itself has the same function and fuse connections, so yes, it could be used.
As could the solenoid from many other machines, as long as it has the main fuse holder combined with the relay unit - and many now do - it will function identically.
