Default Brake line clips K6?

Hi,

Just fitted a set of hel race brake lines to my 2006 sv650 and I'm a bit disappointed that it didn't come new mounts to guide the lines properly but hey ho.

I was wondering what other people have used the keep the lines looking tidy or do people leave the lines loose.

Thanks

You might want to get some P clips for on the mudguard. Do the lines have rubber bungs on them?

Rubber lined p clips on the bay. A few different sizes available. I make my own lines and use a clear protective cover on them that takes them up to the same diameter as the originals so I re-use most of the genuine stuff where I can, tends to fit better and keep everything where it should be.

Yes, I have used the existing clip on the left hand side but right where you normally have split position to divide the line I'm looking for a clip to go there and zip tie the rest.

I have looked around but can't one that would suit, do you know where to order one.

Sorry, I'm being a bit blonde here. My old lines were single to the bottom yoke, split there and single to each calliper, rubber split grommets on both sides. Is that the set up you had?

Yes that's what I had. Now I have a line going to each caliper, I have a bracket to hold the left hNd line in place but nothing for the right.

Right, same as I had on my standard front end. I used a double alloy clip on the yoke and single p clips on the back of each fork. I'll find the e-bay ref. and let you know shortly. It'll have to be item numbers though, aint got a clue how to put links on here.
Speak shortly.

Shug.

Double alloy ones are 251384549117 or 141054095616
Single p clips are 271208966726

The alloy ones are really not worth what they're asking for them and if I was doing it that way again I think I'd use another two single p clips, bolted together but opposite each other if that makes sense?

Hope thats some help.

Shug
