Memory cards
Question for those who are technically minded...
I have a digital camera that uses Smartmedia...a card that is almost square but has a corner 'missing'. I wish to purchase a digital photoframe that uses a card that appears to be the same shape...it is a sandisk. Is this the same card but with another name? i.e can I use the sandisk in my camera....

Re: Memory cards
if it secure digital, any of them will do, but the faster the better. also check to see how much memory the camera will handle.. some only go to 2gig bit if its a newer one it will be more

Re: Memory cards
SanDisk do make SmartMedia cards amongst others.
Do you have a SmartMedia card already? If so, take it to the shop selling the photo frame, and see if it fits. |

It's that one. It looks like my camera takes the same card - just a different manufacturer I guess if that ebuyerlink is anything to go by!! Thankyou..

Re: Memory cards
make sure your camera can handle the right SD card !
the latest spec is SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) some devices cannot use the new standard HC card ... its easy to tell the difference ...HC cards are larger than 2Gb |
