Default Good routes?

I want to go out for a bit of a longer ride this weekend maybe 100-150miles if weather is good. A route with a few stop off points. Not that experienced of good routes from a biking perspective so any suggestions appreciated.

Was thinking of, Loomies Cafe on A272, across to Wessons Cafe at the other end, up to Box Hill and then to Newlands Corner. Anyone know of anything better?

Cheers

Basingstoke to Chicester is good, and you can always go on to East Wittering if the weather is good and you want to see the sea. I'll give you route details if you want?

Yes please pass it on, love a ride, an ice cream and a paddle in the sea. Cheers

Ah good point, maybe start at Newlands then go reverse route and end up at Loomies, not fussed? You're welcome mate, Sunday is best for me or Saturday from 3pm.

Anyone else fancy it, weather forecast looks good.

Here's the route I did down there (and back as it happens!)

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&so...7,0.44014&z=11

And here's the possible detour on the way home.

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&so...4&ie=UTF8&z=11

The last time I did the ride I did the detour route on the way back , which wasn't as good in my opinion. I'd recomend coming back the same way you got there (the first link). Any questions give me a shout!

That Petersfield to Lavant road is a lovely bit of Tarmac - not much traffic, smooth and flows very nicely - enjoy
