My Ebay package arrived today. X300 + lens, flash, bag etc. The camera seems to work and lights up as it should. Lens looks fairly clear and is unscratched. Not a bad little deal overall. I need to have a play around with the camera and look at the manual to work out what all the buttons do.

I came across the Minolta XD7 on my internet travels.
It looks the perfect camera; aperture priority, shutter priority and full manual but it’s out of my price range.
But little brother the XD5, slightly lower spec is intriguing me.

My gas satisfaction was a Ricoh auto half in need of attention. Hoping it's just a slipped spring or similar.
