Default Guitar Holidays?

Right, I need a holiday & I'm not one of those people that likes to just sit by the beach for a week.

A few years ago I did surf school down Lanzo. A thought occurs to me is there a similar thing for Guitars?

Does anyone know of anywhere that you can turn up & play guitar for a week with a tutor? USA or somewhere?

Anyome?

Ta! Dirk

Good question. Probably Electric as I want to develop my lead guitar style!

Though I would like to improve all aspects of my playing!

Just saw this www.guitarweekends.co.uk email : malcom@guitarweekends phone no. 01931 713241. btw do you have Dawsons music shops down your neck of the way, cos they run these courses called weekend warriors, basically you choose you style of music , hook up with a group of muso,s of similar tastes and after 6 weeks or so they organise you a gig.

Just find a decent teacher (I know of one) and spend the holiday money on some lessons.

You could try the Guitar Institute- part of the Institute of Comtemporary Music Performance (ICMP)-

http://www.icmp.uk.com/

They're based in Acton (if they haven't moved over the last few years).

I toyed with the idea of going there for years- never got round to it though.
