Sticking brake piston.
I've give the bike its first decent run of the year and the bike has developed a sqeak (my mate said it was like a squeal when it first happened. Damm earplugs ) when when slowing down on the overrun.
Had the front calipers off and found the right side has a lazy piston. Is just the brakes showing their age or is anything worse? |

Re: Sticking brake piston.
when did they last have a good clean out?
Bike calipers at a minimum need doing once a year. Shame really as car calipers can be left for years. grrr. |

Re: Sticking brake piston.
They were done in early February is my memory serves me right.
It is annoying that require a clean on a yearly basis. The caliper seems to have settled down after a had it off. Am just keeping an eye on it and see if it happens again. More important thing is a oil change to quieten her down |
