Southend Shakedown - Easter Monday 2008
You may have noticed that it was ffffrrrreeezing yesterday - but a group of us braved the weather to do the annual Southend Shakedown run & Supervox BBQ.
We met up at The Ace... (By a strange coincidence they arranged themselves in order of height) laMon, TSM, Lucas, Teriyakimonkey & Bear:  And then set off after everyone else had left:  But we didn't ever catch up with them because we were so cold that we stopped at the first opportunity for teas, coffees, chips (and maybe a small burger). Lucky & laMon:  Check out Lucky's iced jacket:  We got through the snow to sunny Southend beachfront.... Bear, Teriyakimonkey, Lucas & laMon:  Same lot, different order, + a TSM:  Me getting a Bear hug:  Then to meet up with Messie and Supervox in the glamorous Lidl car park...  Then all on to the Supervox house for a sit in the garden ('til the sun went in) and a top BBQ spread, courtesy of Mr & Mrs Supervox (and Mr Supervox Senior)... Bear (and Cindy), TSM, laMon, Messie, Lucky (and burger) & a miniVox  Then it was time to go home...  Thanks all for a great, if frozen, day out! Last edited by Cazza; 25-03-08 at 11:29 PM. |

Nice one Cazza
 I thought my camera was giving poor results with the indoor pics but have just realised it was the BBQ smoke! Nice snow and ice pics. P.S. Stopped for a burger?!!!! I was stood in the snow wondering where everyone had gone

I was out that day riding back from brighton; i had summer gloves on all the way.
Its great how a pair of handlebar muffs and heated grips can keep your hands toasty  Plus a pillion to hug you Matt |
