Default Swanset, Sundown

Just a few pics from today

One of the local swans, very friendly (pics not zoomed in, she walked up to me) and a right poser

Hehe, nah they're not. I had to watch them for over 10 hours for a project once, they're beautiful creatures, gentle too as long as you don't aggravate them

There's about 5 where I am and there's a little old lady who feeds them and the ducks every day, she's very eccentric and calls them duckies collectively , screeches "here duckieeeeees!" loudly across the harbour, funny to watch especially when she waves her arms wildly at the gulls - she doesn't like them

We have an eccentric old dear that comes on the site all dressed up in high vis to feed the ducks, swan and goose. The swan followed me around for a couple of hours on friday, seems quite comfortable around people and loud machinery.

Oh no wasn't all at once LOL that would have been painful, especially as it was at this time of year so blumin' chilly too! It was for an assignment for Animal Behaviour, had to make an ethogram (complete list of behaviours) for an animal of our choice, I chose the swans. Some people chose their pets, I thought I'd be different
