I built a Spartan in 1984. You need a big tool kit that's for sure. The instructions were not very comprehensive, one line said "now fit engine, gearbox and drive train"

Libra is nice but big ££ I'm after either a lotus 7 replica or a classic car. My main worry is driving in the rain with a 7. Just not sure how it would work

Kinda learned after about 18 months of persistence I'd rather be out driving or riding whatever vehicles I have than sat in a garage swearing at seized bits of metal. Not satisfying at all.. Quote:
This one's for sale for £3650: http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-m...lica/104549195 Or just above your budget this MK Indy with an R1 engine in it: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3982438.htm (see also, kit car classifieds on PistonHeads: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/index.asp?c=70) If I could have any kitcar it'd be a MEV Sonic 7 (uses ford focus as a donor, 1.8 or 2.0 petrol, engine mounted in the rear)
