old bikes n odd cars seen in cornwall.
well thought you might like some of these- might stir memories or comments..
ad a few days away walking.. and weather was good and for some reason down cornwall always see lots of older cars and vintage stuff.. so here you go.. what they are I KNOW NOT. I am sure the mighty org will enlighten me. oh of course I had to take pics.. Mrs Q was sayin there you go again another car/bike and another pic.. ha in Padstow this one.. outside Rick Steins not his though I dont think Me thinks THIS one was his.. dunno what this was- but it sounded nice... real throaty.. left hand drive beetle oops- got stuck in the middle of Bath

Some kind of Austin owners club meet I would have thought.
OK Old cars not really my bag but at a Guess 1st one is an Austin 7 2nd one is an Austin healy but not sure of exact model 5th one another Austin 7 6th one an Austin Maxi, triva fact, first production car with a 5 speed gearbox IIRC. 8th one that you describe as sounding throaty, looks like an MGA. Im not 100% I'm right mind...

me got a video of that throaty one pulling away..
they were all seperate fizz.. over a few days in many diff towns so not a club meet- just kept seein loads of them ..

we saw sign for Yeovil on way home.. ! but was in rush..
hey on way down stopped at Monmouth.. went in to town at night lots of pubs- happenned on one.. big pub.. looked where to sit decided on a small area sat down and Mrs Q laughed-- right behind me was This sign.. FYI Dave Evans is my name.. what are the chances.. ok ok quite high as we in wales and my name is welsh..

I was lookin at the open topped white one and a guy come over and started talkin to me about it having extra sprung suspension on the front and very rare eh and this and that as If I understood what he was on about ! lol.. I made my excuses and walked away feeling very un manly for knowin nowt about cars.. This was by far the best car and pic I took.. superb ........
