Default Lower Exhaust bracket

The exhaust bracket bolt that is located under the engine
On mt pointy has corroded to the point that it just spins round and cant be removed.

Has anyone else had the same problem and what did they do to remove the bolt?

I cant tell if its the bolt or the nut inside the bracket(or both) that have stripped/rusted.

I only wanted to displace the bolt so i could fit a hanger bracket for a belly pan hoping i dont have to remove the whole exuast just to be able to cut the bolt out....bikes only done 4000m from new and im quickly learning about the corossion issues with them.... Time to get the acf out i think

if its the bolt i'm thinking of its a captive nut in a cage. the bolt as far as i'm aware is SS and if its spinning then the only way to remove it is major surgery or jam the nut with a screwdriver. do not use stuff like wd40 etc.etc use good proper plusgas or shock spray or heat.

Yes thats the one.
Cant get anything in to jam the nut.
Looking like ill have to hack saw through it on the bracket side then punch out ewhats left over

Turned out to be not that major at all.
Hacksawed through the bolt on the bracket side ( between the rubber and bracket) removed the bolt.

Then managed to tap a flat screw driver in between the bracket and the cage, enough to start bending the flanges on the cage back and forth until the spot welds broke.
Removed the cage and nut and replaced with a stainless nut and bolt.

Can fit a ring spanner into the box bracket to hold the nut while tightenening the bolt.
All done in situ in about 30mins

Why didn't they do this in the first place????
