I can see the dual compound in my rear Storm Ultra 2. And every other bike I've seen fitted with them is the same.

Done about 1600 miles on mine so far, and they're as good as the original Storm's in the wet (which means they're fantastic in my opinion). Hope the mileage is a better with this dual compound, time will tell.

It is quite apparent on the new Storm Ultra's, I think maybes they've done that on purpose to make it more pronounced that it's dual compound.

Having read all 13 pages, I think I need to get myself a set of these - still on the stock dunlop at the moment, scary as hell in the wet!

Anyone know anywhere cheap I can get a set fitted around Sutton (Surrey) or Sevenoaks (Kent)?

I used a storm ultra front this weekend.

Very impressed with it as usual. I noted some different feedback from this, in that it felt just that little bit odd when cold. Of course it could be related to some other part of the setup. Just felt like it was falling in slightly in the first couple of minutes.

Feels a little bit faster to turn in than the original storm (both 120/70). But that could be wear related as I got 11k out of the previous front.

its a higher profile than old storms so would give a faster leaning sensation

Did you measure it? I just eyeballed it against old worn one.
