Default Accident but everything ok

Hi Everyone.
Just a quick note to say if anyone traveling on the Crewkerne Dorcester road at about 7.00pm last sunday 17th saw an accident near wynyards gap it wasn't as bad as it looked.
Sadly I was in collision with a car on a left hander with a car . The bike looked a total mess but I only sustained relitively minor injuries. I wanted to post this note as there were a few bikes that passed whilst I was awaiting an ambulance and I didn't want them to worry.

Can I please also take this opportunity to say even on these very hot days we're having to please please wear all your leather gear even if it is only a short journey, I know it's tempting to wear just jeans but please think first. I had leathers on and it saved most of my skin although it still managed to wear through my left knee leaving a very unsightly hole in what were I'm told a fairly nice pair of legs.

On the mend now and hopefully bike either written off or sorted out soon, Hope to see some of u guys again sometime.

Ride safe, Take care
Ally x

Glad to hear you are ok.

Bikes are more easily replaced and repaired than you are.
