Default Poole Quay Tuesday Nights 2007

clicky

2007 Dates have just been announced - every Tuesday from 6pm 3rd April to 25th September.

Pay £1 on the gate, or get yourself an armband for the whole year for £5 - all proceeds go to charity.

For anyone who has not met me, Scoobs, Teejay, E.d. or Fizzwheel, we usually go most weeks so this will be the ideal opportunity for you to buy us a drink and listen to Scoobs moaning about how cold/hungry he is

For those travelling from the east, usual arrangement is to meet at Rownhams (M27) or Burley (A31) services at around 6pm for a 'brisk' ride down to the Quay for a look at the bikes and to grab some food.

Please use this post only for questions/details/photos etc - this post will be stickied nearer the time (mods permitting )

I hasten to add that this isn't the highlight of the evening.

Work permitting will be there. The big question is where will we eat?.Although Oyster Quay's website is still up and running but no mention of bike nights on Tuesdays anymore.

Last time we were there it looked very closed so we ended up in Weatherspoons, which was not too bad. Oyster Quay website does mention Bike Night but doesn't look as though it has been updated since last year

Finally had my right thumb op only 18months after my accident and it's looking good that I'll be back in the saddle mid season. Keep me posted of anyone taveling from Taunton/Yeovil or that general direction.
Kicked in my evening job so no excuses now.
Always better riding with others

Well seeing as I comitted to making it more often last year, and never made it once, I shall try to put my backside in gear and actually turn up from time to time.

I'm up for leaving work off an hour early and biking straight from Swindon when the nights get longer, you'll just have to ride blindfolded so I can keep up

Looking forward to a casual amble over to the quay, as usual I will be taking it very easy on my lil suzy. Should be fun. Keep that battery charged and I'll not need the blindfold Mines on the Optimate as we speak
