See the attached generic SV photo, anyone tell me what the sticker (under handle bar as you look) is/means?

It looks the same as the 'hayabusa' symbol to me

Yes, it looks like Busa Sybol,the Japanese Kanji symbol for peregrinne falcon.

never mind the symbol... they have an SV650R sticker on it... is that them being more of a tool adding to the symbol, or is the SV650R what people call it after modifications or what?

I think you have to add more than an aftermarket exhaust and fairing lowers to consider renaming it to a SV650R.
I think I could just about claim mine to be an 'R' but no way that can. Druid
