i love the sound of peace and quiet, and i even love the sound of it being broken by the sound of a bike exhaust, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside

Was over the trough of bowland Carl, absolutely great ride over to Clitheroe and the best bit was fish and chips from that lovely chinese fish and chip shop in Whalley, well worth the ride for the fish and chips alone!!!

I often do it the other way round (oo-er)...From Blackburn to Caton via trough then back through settle etc....
very pleasant run, although busy this week 'cos all the kids are off and being ferried about in their parents MPV's.....

Is that the de lacy in the centre of Whalley? - that takes me back. I remember going in there in hiking boots and the whole place going quiet, when I looked round I'd left a trail of sh£t from the door to the bar.
