I want to update you all on the results...
I won!!  Thank you to all who took time to vote for my image of Metsi. My photo has been framed and is on display at "The Big Cat Fundraiser" in J'berg SA tonight. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Big-Ca...17418921645238 Due to distance, I have given my 1st prize tickets to the Big Cat event, being held with Dereck & Beverly Joubert (the judges of this photo competition), to the 2nd place winner Gary Parker. He took 2nd place with a photo of Metsi's grandmother Makwela and cub:  3rd place was Sridhar Reddy Yeraguntla with this photo:  Dereck & Beverly are 5 x Emmy award winning National Geographic Explorers in Residence & Wildlife film makers & photographers. Along with National Geographic they have started the ‘Big Cats Initiative’ to create awareness for the plight of the Big Cats, in particular Lions, Leopards & Cheetah across Africa. |
