So you did £7000 worth of damage to a bike you sold for £2800? That's got to be a record of some sort... If there's anything you need a hand with don't be shy about asking mate and we'll form an orderly queue. Now for god's sake get some rest! |

Re: Bloody combine harvesters
Good to see you well enough to come on here and let us know how you are.
One lucky man. What speed do you/police reckon you were doing when you hit the harvester?

Re: Bloody combine harvesters
the speed was inpossible to measure by the police due to the bike being stoped right after braking by a huge chunk of metal, not got the full report yet tho, this is goin on the initial report, i estimate i went round the corner at 40mph so will have hit just below that due to the very small braking distance.

Re: Bloody combine harvesters
Yeah its always a worry what you will come across when goin round a bend.
What are the police saying. Is the driver of the combine being taken to task for stopping too close to the bend?

Re: Bloody combine harvesters
again, this was just the initial report, still waiting on a police statement, although speaking to the police officers they have said they are not charging either party, but my personal accident solicitor is looking into it all 4 me.
