Well what is this "I need to conserve my tyres for 2 weeks time" or whatever you said crap? That sounds like lilly livered girl talk. Why are you so anxious for us to formulate a plan if you're going to turn up on your bike and then spend 2 hours riding round the car park on a penny farthing instead?

A hundred of miles or so won't do you any harm Gav. Put the penny farthing away, commit to some miles, and then mega plans of weekend joy can be drawn up.
