2 bottles of wine between the 5 of us a night followed by a couple of pints of home brew and go out properly on the lash on a friday night unless im driving in which case its just the one and thats only if im eating. Having driven drunk once and got away with im way too scared to do it again although its not uncommon for me to go out to see a couple of mates and simply give the barman my lid and keys if i fancy caryying on which happens a suprising amont.

alcoholic me never honest guv. Its just that getting ****ed on your own is so boring I really see no point to it. But im in a social house with lots of people who all drink so we just tend to do it every night when were all sat down together.

I know what you mean about worrying about it becuase there is has been evidence of alcoholism in the family.

BUT, if you are aware of it then I'm sure that you'll be able to handle the NOT drinking. WIth your background of training and NOT drinking for 6 months then I'm sure you're able to stop if you needed too.

I'd like to think that too.
But... I dunno. People change I suppose. I dont race or train at all really any more.
And I do drink now.
What I am trying to work now is not drinking anything 3 days a week, and then keeping the other days down to one or two. I would say that's fairly grand.

Its not really the volume that worries me though, its the pre-occupation. That's the bit that makes me anxious.

Sorry
I missed that picture any chance of posting ,pm or email. Semmed to have missed it!

Well I had 2 beers yesterday decided as I had 3 days would be a good time for it....err no bad head again. Stop drinking for a while I think would be a good thing! It doesn't seem to like me, and besides I can save money by not drinking! That has to be a good thing!

i am quite the same with this, however if its a big night, it is a shocking amount of alcohol that is drunk. Last time i went out, 8 beers and god knows how many double vodbulls, i remember having three in my hand at some stage. I'm aware that there will be people out there that drink more than that, but it is quite a worrying amount when you think about it. Sadly its just fun at times!

but if i'm being honest i think if in a night your're having 3 or more, then that is too much. even excluding liver damage and everything else, it just generally dehydrates you and slows fat metabolism i believe (as you need to be hydrated), nevermind the calories in a beer. so i dont see the point in drinking a can or two if you're just going to sit in, unless theres a game on or something vaguely interesting.

otherwise stick to water... being largely that, it's got to be good for something

It's a week today. I looked in the cupboard last night and saw this half drunk bottle of Rioja looking at me and TBPH I didn't want it.
