Unhappy Night riding

Due to me having a very poor night vision I have decided that I will not be riding at night any more. Last weekend scared the pants off me riding through the lakes in the dark.
This does mean that unless I get a lift now and again I will not be going to any of the meets. I'm not happy about it but I reckon it's better to be safe than sorry.
Will see you guys when I can.

Cheers
Ste

My night visions not the best either could hardly see the other night on the motorway once we reached a stretch where there was no lighting, was quite scary! I also won`t be doing any night time riding either, as you say better safe than sorry

I felt Slark's (Ste) thread has been derailed by the 'upgrade your bulbs' posts. I understand where Ste is coming from and he did not say the pointy's lights were crap......

The 'derailing' posts have been moved to a new thread called 'Upgrade Your Lamps' as I think Mototech will have something useful to add about HID kits.

Ohhhh my first proper 'MOD' thing!

Thought I would just add... the pointy's bulbs are awful, but the main reason for me not risking night riding is due to having a large blind spot in the middle of my vision, this has been caused by lack of vitamin A and long nights on the computer with no other means of light as well as relying so much on one eye. I have seriously thought about changing the bulbs but I believe it's not going to make that much of a difference.
Cheers for your thoughts anyway guys
