I use Bendix (MRR or MCR) and haven't had any problems with fade. Biggest change I've made on the gixer and the R6 was a Brembo RCS master cylinder. Absolutely transformed the gixer, and pulling the lever on the R6 is like hitting a brick wall.

Only costs the same as a few sets of pads too.

I want to keep the bike within mini twin rules if I can just in case I decided to give racing a go!, but at the moment I am more than happy doing trackdays.
The bike has braided lines, Ebc v rotors and EPFA pads which has really helped.

I was pleasantly surprised at the goldfren pads, recently changed from the sbs race sintered. Not as much initial bite but more feel and my braking markers improved and for the price you can't complain!

I Switched over to them when i couldn't get hold of the DP racing pads at a good price anymore. They have great feel and tend to last longer than the SBS ones too.
