Finished tinkering with the Minolta. Shutter speeds were as good as you'd want, RF adjusted, a bit of cleaning and the rest checks out. The RF and frame lines work off a pin that just out of the bottom of the RF/VF box and the back of the focus helix pushes against it. The RF works by a lever that sits against the pin, it was a bit slow to return with the spring and was stopping just short of the end. When you moved the other way (focused from short to long) the first movement released it then it caught back up with where it should be. Loosened it off and it's fine. It's all nicely made, I'll certainly give them that. Pity no case but might give it a go soon.

I'm sure you can find a case for it. I need to adjust the vertical alignment on the Seagull 205, it's a little bit out. I also tried out the L39-M43 with a Zorki lens but it doesn't to infinity. Will have to look into it but I think you can adjust the adapter.

So do you lot have any shooting plans this weekend or is it too cold? Lovely sunny day here but I think I'll stay in the warm and browse eBay. Actually, just found a film from my late Grandad to scan.

Sold as spares or repairs for £6.99 plus post. Can't find anything wrong, just needed new batteries and a little attention to the mode switch. The 28mm lens is from the ME Super kit I bought a while back.

That looks a nice clean machine. Good find.
No photography for me this weekend. Out on a Yamaha today - freezing!

I bought a couple of bits off eBay, a Yashica fxd with lens, want to practice my lens repairing skills.

Good idea. I'd like to be able to clean up lenses too.
Does the FXD work? It's a nice little machine but suits a smaller lens better.
