Had a test ride done on this today, a spoked standard model

It was very refined through to 6K rpm, great handling, comfy as can be, very quiet, no wind noise at all....I can see this being a very very good mile muncher. My only negatives were side on wind buffeting (just like my KTM so nothing unexpected) and that the 6K - 11K rpm rev range doesn't do anything for the bike at all...alright so I got up to top speed on it and it's very impressive in that regard but it was missing the punchyness of my KTM V-twin....I think if I got one I would want to mess with the engine tunes a little to make it a little more exciting...if it had a chain it would get a smaller front sprocket if you know what I mean

I also tried this Thruxton cafe racer for kicks, surprisingly good fun for what it is, the little twin is quite the gem considering it's older design and cc...maybe when I hit 70 I'll get one

Not any time soon, another year on it atleast yet I think...and even then I may just buy a S/H explorer...just making the most of the open day at Lings

When I do switch out the KTM it will be for shaft drive, no more chains please!

Was that Your Local Triumph event ?
I went to ours.
The Tigers a fun little trail bike.
So comfy, relaxed and light(Low Seat fitted) but even with the 125 extra cc it lacks the rush of my Daytona.
Tried a Street killed my thumbs??
Was tempted to try the rocket ship you have Mark.
