And had I been 15 seconds ahead of myself I would have got to make him stop @ the Zebra crossing on Chiswell Street

Really? I find that a boot to a rear wheel on slippy roads/white paint is even more inconvenient than stopping........

I learnt to drive in an '07 cr-v??? i passed with only 2 minors!! Do not judge!!!! Had the car a year now (bought it new last march) and done 22K miles in it!

Well after they have forked out however many tens of thousands on one of those petrol guzzling killing machines, they obviously can't afford to get the child an old banger, so they are just going to have to share the SUV-love.

I don't see what's wrong with learning in a bigger car. There is no point in buying a crappy small car to learn in just to fit in. I learnt in a five series with a rather panic-stricken father.
