TV Via broadband

Gather round you Geeks and Nerds, for only you have The Wisdom!
We're set to get fibre optic connection here in the next year or so, which is exciting partly because it means I wont have to deal with Viasat any more (a noisy cooling fan in your digital box? try updating the software and then call back.), partly because it will mean 100mb broadband (in the middle of the forest in the middle of nowhere in the middle of Sweden! When they get it right they really get it right!) and partly because it will save me money in the long run not having to pay for seperate TV and telephone/broadband (even if it will cost 1500 quid to have it installed!).
Now, at the moment, we have two tvs in the house. The one in the bedroom which has the DVR attached and one in the sitting room which gets a signal from the AV transmitter attached to the DVR, which gives poor quality at best as it is quite a way away.
So what I want to know is, what is the easiest, most foolproof way of watching broadband tv from one source on two tvs, without having a mass of cables all over the house? Also with the ability to record and watch recorded content on either TV.

Same content on both tv's or ability to watch different things on each display at the same time? Also are the tv's modern flats screens with HDMI or VGA inputs?

id just use 2 computers thru 2 tv's (a sh1tty one would do for the second comp) and have a plug in point** in the bedroom with a cable from 2nd comp into plug in


** cant remember what there called for the life of me but they turn your electric wires in broadband transfer lines and just plug into the electric socket

I do a lot of techy things for my job - how have I never seen or heard of those Ethernet mains adapters?! Are they any good?! Amazin!

Got them at my place, plug in at the main bt socket in the bedroom (router), the second one is in the living room (pc, btvision).

No problems for a year and a nice 8meg downloads.

I was looking into getting some of those a while ago - one bit that confused me is it says they have to go into the wall socket, not an extention lead. Is that right? Don't suppose you've tried it?

Didn't make sense to me why it wouldn't work like that. Good to know if I need to change things round. I'd be very surprised if theres a single household that doesn't rely on an extension lead behind the telly
