Alan (Tiger55) in the office tonight. Thoughts for you and your colleagues and the folks on the ground.

Hoping its not as tragic as it appears.

Seen this and thought instantly of tiger, glad to hear he was in the office.

An awful accident. So relieved when we heard Tiger was not involved last night.

Our thoughts with all those affected.

Awful news. Thoughts go out to all involved. The taken ones, their families, the injured, persons present and all emergency service staff.
Words can't express how awful this incident is.

I'm touched that so many of you contacted me on Friday night. I was on duty with the air ambulance but they sent the paramedics and doctors to the scene by road while the suddenly spare part twiddled his thumbs. In the end I spent the night answering the phone - mostly telling Sky News to f*ck off actually - and running around making tea etc for people with more useful things to do.

We lost three good people in this tragedy and as a lot of people said via txt and Facebook our thoughts should be with them and their families.

When the accident report is published I'll be happy to discuss the details with anyone still interested, but please lets spare ourselves any speculation in the meantime.

Take care of yourselves, your familes and your friends folks, nothing else is important.
