London based SV650s riders/tall rider question
Hi all,
Strange request time... Recently passed my DAS and will be heading out to look at a curvy SV650s on Saturday, on the off chance are there any curvy SV650s owners based in London that would be happy for me to sit on their bike?? The bike I'm looking at is an hour and a half drive away so it would be great to see how an SV650s fits (it would save me the drive if they're too small - i'm 6 foot 5). Thanks, Adam Last edited by Fezant; 13-12-17 at 08:28 PM. |

I'm in Epsom, have a curvy S with bar conversion you can sit on.
I'm 6'2" and it is fine for me. Last edited by andy650; 13-12-17 at 08:50 PM. |

I'm in Walthamstow so may be a bit of a trek to Epsom but thanks! How did you find it with the original clip on handlebars?

Roomy enough for me, but too low as I got older, hence the bar conversion which I did last year.
I've had it for 17 years, so it must fit me right! You should be able to find another in a dealer or private close to you, they are pretty common. Sit on a pointy if not, close enough to give you an idea. |

Pointy is slightly more cramped. When I sat on one I found the footrests were just that bit higher than my curvy which made the bend at the knees a little tighter. I'm 6ft.

Found a dealer near to my office which has a pointy s in stock, will take a trip down there tomorrow. Thanks for the help!

I recall the initial pointy K3, being slightly taller. Or my legs shrunk in the bath.
