Quick tyre question
Just got a part worn rear tyre from a mate of a mate. Edges are well frazzled (ex track day tyre) but loads of tread. Only problem I can see are loads of little cracks around the side walls, reckon it'd be ok to use? Got MoT next month and current rear tyre is almost knackered so was gonna put the part worn one on until cash flow improves.

Re: Quick tyre question
Generally small cracks are a sign of age, check the code on the tyre and find out how old it is, Personally I'd be dubious about using it and a minimum lack confidence is any "exuberant" use, also check down in the tread for cracks as well.
