Default Front Fork seals

Help! 1999 sv naked Seals gone

I have removed the front forks but the bolt that goes into the fork directly above the axle just keeps turning. I have removed the spring rammed up a brush handle and with the wife holding the handle tried undoing it - still the same.
The only way I can think of progressing is to use a blowlamp on the old seal and melt it out. Has anyone any other suggestions? I am hampered by the lad being in lockdown and the wife not being very strong/use! (Sorry love).

I did try a search but could not see any relevant threads -If I missed one then I apologise

I have done it! I used a wood sash clamp and cut the brush handle down to size. It was because I looked for advice that the mind reset and I remembered the sash clamp not used for 20 yrs or so!

I used an Allen end that fitted into my impact driver and shocked it out

It is the worst part of the job. all i can add is keep trying. I think last time i used a couple of socket extension wrapped in tape and hammered onto the damper rod. alternatively, there is a tool for the job

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JMP-Fork-...wAAOSwuARcRbr7

And buy or borrow an impact tool
