And . . . . as of yesterday more rumours.
Ducati are said to be offering to supply their factory bikes, fitted with the control ecu, to privateer teams.
This has led to speculation that Yamaha will also supply satellite spec M1's fitted with control ecu as well, with the forward racing team looking likely to run them.
Could close the field a little more next year, although more factory spec Ducatii is probably not a good thing!
