Question Skydiving

Right guys, after selling my sv, got the money in the bank waiting to be spent.
Im thinking of doing my sky diving license. ( YES seriously instead of buying a new motorbike)
Anyone got one or done it?
and can anyone recommend where to do it?

I know that i need to lose 2 stone first before i can do it, according to a place in uk that does the training.
so thats my first mission.
but want to get looking into it and booking it.

Thanks
Josh

Trade in a bike for the sky? You must be smoking something!

so your 17 stone, I did mine a few thousand miles to the west from here in a small place called Canada.
All through the Army so only paid the Adventure Training costs. Had a blast... Just remember... It's a virus that cannot be gotten rid off... Just like Biking... You'll be back in the seat before long my friend...

Mej off here has done exactly that. Pm him as I'm pretty sure he's got his licence by now and goes all over Europe doing it

A mate of mine has a couple of (1000 or so?) jumps under his belt, PM me if you want his number to have a chat.

He hasn't jumped since he crashed on an .org rideout and smashed his shoulder up though.

A couple of friends did there's in Morocco in 2-3 weeks I think it was, albeit that was a lot of jumps per day. Apparently the weather conditions there were pretty much guaranteed.

not got my license but done a couple of jumps complete adrenaline rush when hanging out of the plane right before you jump, was also thinking about maybe getting a license but would save up, not selling the bikes for it

I did 14 jumps before a bad landing involving a WWII slit trench on the airfield put paid to me jumping out of perfectly serviceable aircraft.

It was getting expensive and addictive.

3 from a balloon, 3 from a cesna, 3 from the back of a herc, i can live with never ever, ever contemplating it again (unless the aircraft i'm in is on fire!)

I've dropped skydivers in the past, and nothing would persuaded me to join them, why jump out of a serviceable aircraft if the wheels are not on the floor

It is my understanding that charity jumps generate more cost to the NHS overall than they raise in contributions.
