Default scottoiler.. again... next to the shocker???

ive seen the how to on fitting the oiler next to the shock.
i cant weigh up how to-
1. bolt it in place... (access)
2. avoid the chain, especially with the oil pipe....

is this the place most people fit their scottoiler?

any better / safer ideas??

cheers

asuming yours is a curvey as mine, i have installed it next to the shock. There is a small threaded hole in the frame that you can use to bolt the scottoiler to. Use the black rings with a bolt in through them that comes in the kit, adjust it so the unit does not sit too low or to high. The oil pipe, run it directly up and zip tie it to the sub frame then down again, that should keep it clear from the chain.

Will take some pics if i can to show what i mean.

yeah, mines a curvy.
i take it you use the top of the two holes....

it looks a nightmare to tighten the bolts up, and when i offered it up, the nipple that the oil pipe goes onto looked very close to the chain....

pics would be handy....

thinking about putting it in the tail, but dont really want it that horizontal...
