Used up a roll of 35mm Ektar, 2x Agfa Vista, a roll of Fujichrome 120 and a roll of Ektar 120 at the tank museum. I can see why the X700 was the way it was, sometimes the cycle didn't quite complete so left the wind lever floppy and the release locked. A quick extra wind on the lever and all was well. Had the dial on green P and the lens on green f22 so hoping my shots come out. Perkeo is loadef for Corfe castle tomorrow.

That's a lot of film in a day, almost 6 months' supply there for me.
I never tried the x700 on auto so will be interesting to see how they come out. The tank museum looks epic!

It was. A single entry gives you a years pass so we might go blackcurrant depending on how the week pans out. Got three more rolls of film at home to send off.

Found a Tamron AD2 28mm f2.5 in a charity shop for 14.99. Came with an fd mount. Also found a Yashica T3.

No resting from the GAS, even on holiday.
I just had a look at the T3, they seem to go for 3 figures on ebay. Hope you got it at a good price.

No, I've bought four plus the lens so far. It was a good price, battery door is broken but nothing a bit of black tape won't sort. Got a battery on order as ut needs a weird 2cr5m. It powers up but is low. Its got the top down viewfinder as well. Saw an X300 for £17.

I like the idea of the extra viewfinder on top. I'm getting too old for crouching and lying down!

Last time I laid down on grass to take a photo I ended up with a tick on the back of my arm. I doubt I will buy another dslr but if I do then it will have a tilt screen.

There were a couple of Pentax right-angle ones on the Bay of Pigs last night, so you look downwards, but it's the same eyecup type not a waist-level type like a TLR
