Do as I did. I'm not a newbie rider, but didn't have clue where I was going even though Ed does explain it to everyone, so i stuck behind someone that did (cheers Daz). It doesnt matter if you are near the back the main thing is to enjoy yourself. The TEC will wait for you & point you in the right direction, so dont panic

I will do a BRIEF explanation of the ground rules on the day. But Pete's intro is good.

Basic and fundamental rule is to have fun! Second rule goes hand in hand, don't ride like a knob cos it ain't clever. But as you will have Miss Nobbly on the back I doubt that you would, anyway. There's a fine balance... do be aware that the route is simply fantastic and the A44 to the Cross Gates and the A488 back through Knighton will make you wish you lived here.
