Default Parking near Old Street

I have to attend a course next week and need to find somewhere to park near to Old Street station. I used to work near to there, but we had private parking so I've no idea what the parking situation is like.

The awkward part is that I don't need to be there very early (9.30ish) so I guess I may miss out on any spaces in the bays. Does anyone know of any car parks round that way offering bike parking?

Its a bit of a walk, but there is loads of car parking in the London Wall car park. Its undergorund as well. About a 10 minute walk up to Old Street though

I think I should have mentioned that I know I can find out 'where' the bays are, I'm just not sure how full they get (there don't seem many round there) or whether there are other options.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. There used to be a multi-storey car park just behind Liverpool Street (near to Cycle Surgery) not sure if that's still there though.

Ah cool, that looks like the closest one too. One of the days I don't have to be there until 1pm, which gives me plenty of time to ride around looking for a space, but don't fancy that everyday (and it'll soon be a regular parking place of mine, so I'd rather find somewhere near to Old Street than too much of a trek away)

Jo I would have thought you'll find a space no problem at this time of year - especially if this weather keeps up!

What's your course btw?

Ness, it's the induction training for my new evening job (not that I really want to do two jobs, but the bills need paying ).

Between Vestry Street, and Provost Street there is a corner of pavement whoich I always parked on here

However, there's plenty of bike bays about and the weather being what it is I think there will be less competition.
