Red face Possible convert to the SV

Hi,

Have been advised to pop in here by someone who knows me and rides an SV.

I currently ride a cruiser due to being quite short but am finding the weight difficult. I have looked at most bikes (though I don't want a sports bike) but they are all too tall, was told today at a dealership that I can go next week and test ride their lowered SV but would like to hear from other "vertically challenged" SV riders especially ladies.

I'm looking for soemthing fun, funky and lightish so getting it parked or off the stand is't a chore.

Any advice gratefully recieved.

My wife is 4ft 11 and rides my SV, though it is the earlier curvy model as they are a tad lower then the pointies. Its had 20mm take off the back via longer dog bones and 10mm drop with the front forks, then 45 mm off the seat. Normall hieght 805mm (31.7inches) now 740mm (29.13 inches).

Yeh i think a Buell is a great option for shorties, i saw a women riding one the other week and when she got off she couldn't have been anymore than 5'4. She spoke to me and asked about the SV as she was thinking about one before she got the Buell

Thanks for that grinch. I'm 5ft but only a 27" inside leg !! My other half won't have problems changing the dog bomes for me.

Was going to havis but he's parted with the seat now, hoping to test ride a lowered demonstrator though.
