Yes and it did 3300 miles on that one trip. Since done another 3000 miles 6500 odd miles for a rear is not bad.

Blimey, you've done more miles on you bike since your Eurotrip than I've done on mine since I bought it (March 2006, btw)

The problem with racking up some miles is costs! this is my 4th rear (let first two off early cos of impending long rides) and third front. Also the bike has been serviced 4 times in the year I've had her. 17000 miles since I bought her in June 2007, not as much as some but pretty impressive for 'fun' miles only machine.

You're joking, I've seen first hand the way you treat SV's

Besides, I might put a couple of miles on her this weekend if the weather's decent. If only there was a group of like-minded SV riders heading into north Wales this weekend I could tag along with...

Sv riders? Half of them are on cr@ppy four cylinder jobbies now. And I use the term "jobbies" correctly.
