The alternatives to annoying you lot are housework or crap tv, both yuk!
I was supposed to be starting back at my science degree with the OU but cannot commit 20 hours to study every week that i would need, to do it justice.
I do get quite lonely at night and Jeff works 11 nights out of 14. Besides, he's not allowed to spend more than 2 nights a week here anyway cos it would affect my benefits.

So its just me, the forum, the cats and my rabbit

You have my sympathy as my wife is on nights this week, so at the mo I have a 5 year old who is so tired, but hasn't gone off to sleep and a 12 year old who doesn't want to go to bed, even though she too is very tired

You guys think you have it bad...

I get up at 5 to travel to work, get home at about 7 usually depending on traffic (has been half 8 once or twice), Jenn gets home at about 7ish and I have to spend the night with her!!

Where do i get a night shift for her?!

With you there bud, my 7 year old just won't go to sleep at the moment - tummy hurts, legs ache, headache, feeling sick, needing drinks.....
I know he has concerns with friends at school but he talks to me about it and i dont think its enough to be keeping him awake.
I think he might just be seeking a bit of attention, constantly coming back downstairs, so i am trying to find the balance between being caring and understanding but also being quite assertive in getting him back into bed and keeping him there. Why isnt there a Haynes manual for kids??
