Default Hein Gericke - Help

Hi,

After some help / advice.

Bought a new AGV lid yesterday and whilst I'm happy with the fit and styling, by god its noisy and windy. The vents make no difference whether they are open or closed. Previously had an Arai which was considerably better and it was a toss up between another Araia or AGV.

I asked the guy whether its possible to return the lid if I want happy with it, to which he replied no.

Does anyone on here work for HG and can help or offer any suggestions about changing the lid.

Thanks
Andy

I dont realy know of anywhere that would give you a refund on a lid cos you dont like it, i recon they should have some demo lids so you can try before you buy but that aint going to happen. Best bet if you cant live with it is try and sell it on ebay but you will have to take a hit on it.

thats the trouble with lids, I bought a Nolan (from HG - asked them to check it fitted me too) but I soon knew that it didnt really fit properly and was too heavy for me but they wouldnt take it back. Do you use earplugs? - my Shoei is noisy and I cant ride without them.

would any one buy a lid that been droped a few times ?
the insides may well be damaged, making it useless when YOU need it most.
so the shops dont take back lids.......
its your head on the line, as such....
all you can really do is ask people on their view, but then again it will be their view...................
aaaaaaaaahhhhhhh what can i say..pot luck, maybe.

I bought an AGV stealth and whilst i like the look of the helmet I find it really uncomfortable to wear and can`t turn my head properly... only worn it about 4 times so its now lying in its box on top of my wardrobe as good as new. Felt great in the shop but riding whilst wearing it was a totally different matter altogether.

making it more better fitting.....
my penny's worth....

I got the AGV GP PRO, and yet, where it's a comfortable helmet the wind noise is horrendous, easy option my friend, wear ear plugs.

It isn`t tight Tony, its just too wide around the chin and when I turn my head it catches on my shoulder
