Southern 100 2011
I've just come back from the Isle of Man after watching 3 days of brilliant racing in Castletown.
The Southern 100 has been my introduction to road racing & I'm pleased to say that I'm hooked. I wont go to the TT because I think that the Steam Racket company rip you off stupid, but I may go to the Manx & will hopefully going back for the Southern next year. Just a few of my 400 pictures that I took over the week. This is my favourite of the lot. Mr Dunlop "On it"

Top stuff. Been looking for highlights from the Southern on BBC NI but think I have missed , if there was any?
Get yourself over the water for some more real road racing ( and legendary hospitality!) Got Dundrod & UGP next month, hope the weather is as good as you appear to have got. Different breed indeed. |

Wow that looks amazing, some cracking shots there Col.
Think this one has to be my personal favourite: Nice bit of visible drama in there, something you can't always get with road racing with the timed starts. Nicely done!

Re: Southern 100 2011
Cheers Andrew. You wont be disappointed. It beats track racing hands down & I've been a fan of that for years

That 1st race I thought that Guy had won as we didnt have anybody by us with a radio. I was really pleased when I got back to the tent & the bloke next to me said that Michael had pipped Guy at the post. Dunlop is an awesome rider & deserved the overall win
