It turned my stomach thinking about it - I started watching it and as previously said, admire her for doing what she's done.

Out of interest, it this also aimed at body-stocking wearers?

If you don't wear your mc ppe and have a fall I will not feel sorry for you(who's at fault is irrelevant), and if it where to happen to me, I don't want sympaty, a smack behind my head would be more correct. Idiots like that is one of the main reasons insurance premiums keep going up. Why does someone need to close to death before they start thinking......
But she's not the last idiot to be born....

Indeed.... can't see a body stocking much more protection than bare skin

I actually quite like the bike. I hate pink but for safety I have actually thought about getting a bright pink jacket. That bike I imagine is pretty visible

Very good message!

And a really cynical point: it's probably her same poor judgement in bike paint design that gave her poor judgement in protective gear to start with!

Nah, in majority of accidents someone pulls out in front of you.

If they're going to miss spotting 160kg of metal, 3000 or so lumens of headlight... they're not going to spot some horrific paint or a hi vis vest either...

Plus not doing your bike up like a c*nt reduces the chance of people setting fire to you.

+1000, cringe cringe cringe!

Hat off to her for making such a difference with her life and not hiding her scars in shame. Poor lass, can't have been easy. Yes she was stupid once but everyone makes mistakes, she will have made up for it a hundred times over in her job.
