Re: Another non starting curvy
Update.....
I drained the tank last night and put new fuel in, didn't read here first so put in 97 octane with 500ml of Redex and have been spraying the carbs with easy start. It seemed to be fuel starved but yet tonight it ran for about a minute with full choke and sat at 2k before loosing power, weirdly if I rocked the bike side to side it continued running it has also had a brief moment of emitting smoke probably only for a few seconds. The biggest issue is the battery only lasts so long, and Im not sure of the best way to utilise a car battery. Anyway it seems to be getting better with every session of starting, spraying and rocking so will continue more of the same tomorrow. |

Using a car battery to jump start a motorcycle:
https://tinyurl.com/y2asnhur Advice is good and don't run the car while doing it but ignore the "car alternator gives out way more voltage than a motorcycle system can handle" message. |
