sv650 curvy 02 StreetFighter
i lov streetfighters and one of the man reasons i got a sv for was the fact that i think you could make it look the ******** if u made it in to a streetfighter. plus no one really seems to do it to a sv
only problem is i dnt know what would not go and what would. iv got laods of ideas in my head i just need some help knowing if i can make it happen. so first off my plans for my bby i wnt big forks mabey gsxr 600 forks. diffrent dials diffrent light. also i wnt the back to be more point up (if u get me) thats what i wanna do first but is this possible and has any one got any ideas of parts or how to do it. also dose any one know were i can get the parts lik steetfighter web sites ect. |

Re: sv650 curvy 02 StreetFighter
GSXR forks is easy... In fact, most of it is, SVs are dead easy to spanner on and just about everything's been tried. There's been at least one Streetfighters SV feature as well. A good place to start would be the SV Rider SV of the month forum, some lovely fighters in there... 2007 was a good year, look at that pretty green one
http://forum.svrider.com/showthread.php?t=46302 Trouble is, most SV "streetfighters" are just nakeds with renthals and dual headlights on, about as extreme as my mum. Here's mine in a couple of different forms, it's not really what you're looking at- I hate pointy-up tails- but it might give you some ideas. Lots of other cool fightery bikes on this forum, Jase22 and Haggis are two that spring to mind. With a GSXR tail mocked up onto it... I don't like this one much though Too thin, lacks presence. The SV's stock tail's pretty nice in fact. I'd like to see an SV with a zedbutt on it though.

And EBAY! Streetfighterstore is OK too. And Busters, Demon Tweeks etc sell lots of fighter parts.
Oh, check out Oldskoolsuzuki.info, they're not really that into their SVs but there's a huge amount of fighting knowledge on there, brilliant forum.

Tell us some of your ideas and I'll try to give you a rough idea of whats involved making it work.
P.s English is easier to understand and likely to get more responses.

Re: sv650 curvy 02 StreetFighter
they are really easy to toy with if you know how. heres a couple of mine and also a couple of the current fork conversion. moorespeed racing in poole are very good too, do loads of customising parts, and accross the road his mate owns a custom fabricating company called x generation. do loads of exhaust work and other stuff. disturbingthepeace.co.uk is a good website too. loads of really nice fighters on there too.
trying to get hold of a really small circular speedo, but im going to wait till the new forks are on. and one with the forks eyed up |

Micron pipes, cut down can and satin black paint... sounds familiar.

Re: sv650 curvy 02 StreetFighter
Lol my apologies.
Nice front end, mines got the ones from 600, but they suit it better as mines closer to rat than 'fighter.
