Re: SH2: The Rebuild (Image Heavy)
Part 13; Is It Alive?:
The day was spent doing a little work on the bike. Had a few checks to perform regarding the wiring and some of the routing before the fun stuff could begin. And the fun stuff involved the grinder. Needed to hack off the old exhaust clamps that were welded to the exhaust as they were just ornaments as I have some nice shiny new replacements for them. Got the exhaust on with a bit of effort as the rear stub didn't mount properly at the first attempt. With the exhaust on it was time to stick the air box on and throw a little fuel in the tank before plumbing in and giving it a go... No pictures for this one only little video of the attempt that was made at starting it up. Please note there are a couple of rude words, sorry Mum. All thats left to do now is to tidy up, get the plastics on, get it MOTed and then run in. Oh and change that exhaust for the test as it edges toward the loud end of the scale. |

About time too.
Same question as I asked Dan (barwell). Does it goes as fast as a real Busa now? |
