Default Helmet on-line

Hi

I'm going to buy a Shoei Xr-1000 and found it on gear4bikers about £100 cheaper .... as I know my size (tried on in shop) whats the feeling on buying off the web ?

Any help will be much appreciated !!

thats what i did with the arai, i tried it on in HG then got it online (sorry paws)

saved £125 (paid £375 instead of £500)

Did exactly that myself. Tried in the shop so I knew what size I need and got my XR1000 in red ray for 199 including delivery. Do it!

I reckon buying off the web will get a helmet at least as well looked after as one that's from a shop. You'll never know exactly how many bumps the box /helmet have had, but unless there's clear visible damage to the box or helmet, it's as good as any other new helmet. I've bought my last 2 that way, always for way less than in the shops. Just try it on in one of the shops to get the size right first - different manaufacturers all have slightly different fits, so you may be medium in one brand and large in another brand.

I think time to place the order .... and but a new pair of gloves with the money saved !!
